Harry A. Tansil

Harry A. Tansil, 85, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 in a local hospital. Funeral services are private. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Harry was born on January 27, 1929 to Harry Sr. and Floy (Darnell) Tansil in Sweetwater. After graduation from high school, he attended Abilene Christian College and graduated with a Master's Degree in Theology. He married Pat Hall in 1950 in Texas. He worked as a minister for the Church of Christ at several locations. Later he worked for the San Angelo Independent School District. He was a tennis player and coach. He was preceded by his parents and a sister, Patricia Tansil. Harry is survived by his wife of 64 years, Pat Tansil of San Angelo; sons, Mark Tansil and his wife Janny of Sebastopol, Ca; Dana Tansil of San Angelo; daughter, Julie Hayes of San Angelo; sister, Estelle Scott in Phoenix, AZ; and grandchildren, Carly Tansil and Shelby Tansil.
