Harvey Lee Koeing

Harvey Lee Koenig, 87, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at a local care center. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Walt Landers officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Harvey was born on May 22, 1927 to Ben and Opal (Oliver) Koenig in Burkett, Texas. He entered the Military after high school and married Pat Perkins in Fredericksburg, Texas on August 31, 1957. He was a truck driver for Gandy's. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; wife; youngest son, Roy Lee Koenig; sisters, Bennie Preas; and Early Mae Preas. Harvey is survived by his daughter, Margie Graham and her husband Tommy of Abilene; son, Johnny Koenig and his wife Mary Ann of San Angelo; daughter, Judy Shockey and her husband David of Abilene; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
