Hattie Lucile Johnson

Hattie Lucile Johnson, 89, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2015 at her residence. A visitation will be on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. A funeral service will held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 23, 2015 at New Light Baptist Church, 720 W. 16th St., with Rev. L.E. Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Hattie was born on November 6, 1925 to William and Ada (Fields) Newhouse in Hallsville, Texas. She married Murry Johnson on July 28, 1942 in Marshall, Texas. Later the Johnson's moved to San Angelo were they started their family. Hattie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her daughters, Mattie Louise Butler of Clinton, MD, Patricia Ann Richardson and her husband Charles of Bixby, OK; son, Murry Johnson Jr. and his wife Christine of San Angelo; sisters, Geraldine Freeman of Dallas; and Florine Lister of Longview; Thirteen Grandchildren, Twenty-two Great Grandchildren, and Four Great Great-grandchildren.
