HAYDEN MYERS

Hayden Myers, 85 of Mertzon died Saturday November 21, 2009 at his residence. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday November 25, 2009 at Sherwood Cemetery with J. T. Tucker, Chaplain of VistaCare Hospice, officiating. Hayden was born October 12, 1924 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Roy and Eva Drake Myers. He worked as a pumper in the oil fields. He married Sue Whitefield in Mc Camey, Texas on October 25, 1946 and they shared 54 wonderful years together until she passed on July 24, 2000. Survivors include his daughters; Sandy Wilson and husband, Dave of Princeton, Tx., Judy Mabry of Mertzon; granddaughters; Jana Goodwin and husband, Gabe, Joni Wilson all of Allen, Tx.; grandson; Trent Wilson of Mc Kinney, Tx., great granddaughter; Sigourney Goodwin and great grandson Laird Goodwin both of Allen, Tx. The family of Mr. Myers wishes to thank the VistaCare Hospice doctors, nurses and staff for the excellent care and personal warmth shown to their father and family.
