Hazel M. Sallee, 87, of San Angelo, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at her residence. Family visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, September 1, 2005 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 2, 2005 at Fairmount Cemetery with Pastor Tony Garcia of the Calvary Chapel officiating. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Hazel was born July 26, 1918 in Yantis, TX to James S. and Maud Jones. Hazel worked in retail clothing sales and was a clothes buyer and as a bridal consultant. She worked at Grammer-Murphy Clothing in Midland for many years, before coming to San Angelo. She married the late Aaron Lee Sallee, the love of her life, September 15, 1951 in Abilene, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Aaron Sallee, two bothers, Vernon and Dale Cameron, two grand-daughters Dawn Barlow and Sherry Lynne Davis, one sister Cora B. Cameron. Survivors are: Daughter:Brenda Sallee and husband, Bill of San Angelo Son:Steve Barlow and wife, Elaine of San Angelo Two sisters:Thelma Bodine of Woodville, TX Grace Fillman of Dallas Six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special "thank you" to Intrepid Home Health's nurses and aides for the wonderful care given to Hazel.
