HELEN GODINES

Helen Godines, 75, of San Angelo, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2005 in a local hospital. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, March 21, 2005 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Quirino Cornejo officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Helen was born October 16, 1929 in Mason to Santiago and Mercedes Lopez. She married Abelardo "AC" Godines, May 27, 1949 in San Angelo and married fifty-six years. Helen retired from the San Angelo ISD working in food service. After her retirement, she was able to finally devote her full time to her home and family, especially, the light of her life her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Santiago and Mercedes Lopez, brother Antonio Lopez Sr. and a sister Amelia Emma Rodriguez.
