Helen Harlin Proctor

Helen Harlin Proctor, 69 of Snyder was called home by the Lord on Sunday April 24, 2011. Helen was born on February 8, 1942 in Yazoo City Mississippi to David Lloyd Harlin Sr. and L. Dee (Roach) Harlin. She married Jerry Madison Proctor on September 1, 1963 in Snyder, TX. Helen and Jerry both worked for GTE in the Garland/Plano area and had many great years and great friends there. Helen loved her five grandchildren so much and treasured every moment she spent with them. Being "Nana" to them was so special to her. She also enjoyed taking pictures of her loved ones and spent untold hours reminiscing over stacks of photos of friends and family. She just loved the people in her life so much. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday April 27, 2011 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday April 28, 2011 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Mr. Bill Roach of Weslaco, Texas, officiating, with a reception following hosted by the family at the funeral home. Graveside Service will be 12:00 PM, noon on Friday April 29, 2011 at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas with Pastor Davis, officiating. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Madison Proctor; her parents, Dave and L. Dee Harlin; her brother, David Lloyd Harlin Jr. Helen is survived by her daughter, Deanna Proctor Kiernan and her husband, John of Colleyville, Texas and their children, Madison and Tyler; Daughter, Cami Proctor Mc Millan and her husband, Brad of Garland and their children; Tanner, Parker and Sydney; Brother, Robert (Bob) Louis Harlin, Aunt Imogene Roach; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of great friends.
