Henry Gilbert Bell

Gilbert Bell, 86 of Dryden, Texas passed away Sunday May 3, 2015. Graveside service will be Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in Sanderson at Cedar Grove Cemetery. He was born in Osage Ark. April 30, 1929 to Henry and Mackie Bell. Gilbert was very kind and generous to everyone met. He worked very hard at every job he took on and enjoyed life to the fullest! He was a rancher at the Paint Mare Ranch for 40+ years. He was a member of the ASCS in Sanderson for many years, the President of the Sanderson Roping Club, and many other community activities. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, his son Kenn Bell, his daughter Carolee Walker, and sisters Ida Mae Burnett, Lois Wheller, and Katherine McNalley. Gilbert is survived by his wife Beverly English Evans of Sanderson, one sister Lavada Walker, his son Gib and wife Kyle Bell, daughter Rhoda Sue Smith and husband Doug. Grandchildren, Amber Walker, Genna Bryars and husband James, Trevor, Brittany, Logan Bell, Seath and Sarah Smith, and three Great Grandchildren, Justin, Carlee, and Leah Bryars. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to West Texas Boys Ranch, Hospice of San Angelo, or to a charity of your choice.
