Howard Lee Clay, 49, of San Angelo TX, passed away on Mar. 5, 2015 in San Angelo, TX. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM ,Monday Mar. 9th, 2015 at Hobbs, NM 88240 with the Dr. Fredd B Adams,II of St. Paul Baptist Church officiating at Lane Chapel CME, with Larron Fields Pastor. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Howard was born in Hobbs, New Mexico to JoAnn Jackson & Howard Leon Clay on Sept. 15, 1965. He went to school in Hobbs. He worked as a Surface Heavy Equipment for 3S Services. Howard Clay is preceded in death by his father Leon Clay, Paternal Grand Parents Clim and Lorene Clay; Maternal Grand Mother Katie Mae Chapple. Uncles Hollice Clay, R D Rockmore and Aunt Mildred Clay Howard is survived by his mother JoAnn Connor (Will) of Hobbs, NM his Mom Patricia Clay of San Angelo, TX, Girlfriend Michelle Robertson of San Antonio, TX, Sisters Tami Clay-Mitchell (Shawn) of Saginaw, TX, Regina McGruder of Dallas, TX, Rhonda McGruder-Gallardo, of Dallas, TX, Cheri' Clay-Reed (Elex) Pflugerville, TX, & Telytha Blackburn (Tyres) of Frisco, TX. Brothers: Eugene McGruder (Tina) of Idaho, NE, Paul Edwards of Idaho, NE and Leon Clay of San Angelo, TX., numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Brian Clay, Brett Clay, Terence Fields, Aaron Adams, Marquis Neal and Nathaniel Woods Memorials may be given to memorials of choice.
