HUMBERTO LOPEZ

Humberto Lopez, 84, of Morelos, Coahuila passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2008 in San Angelo, Texas. A rosary will take place at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father David Herrera officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Humberto was born in Morelos, Coahuila; Mexico to Martin and Victoria Figueroa Lopez on July 13, 1924. He married Candelaria R. de Lopez on October 4, 1948 in Morelos, Coahuila. He worked in construction with J.D. Burk Construction Co. for 15 years. He was involved at St. Mary's Catholic Church for more than 36 years. Humberto is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Victoria F. Lopez; daughter Maria Harrison and great grandson Roberto Lopez. Humberto is survived by his wife Candelaria R. Lopez. Sons; Juan F. Lopez and wife Estella Lopez and Jose Luis Lopez and wife Maria. Sister, Jenoveva Lopez; grand children, Amy Hernandez and husband Demos, Martin Lopez, Maritza Juarez and husband Uvaldo, Jose Luis Lopez Jr., Ginelda Lopez, Alex Gutierrez and wife Monica, Elizabeth Morales and husband Jorge Luis, Jesus Gutierrez and 16 great grand children. Pallbearers will be Juan F. Lopez, Jose Luis Lopez, Alex Gutierrez, Martin Lopez, Jorge Luis Morales Sr., and Jorge Luis Morales Jr. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Hospice Organizations and nurses. A special thanks to Alex, Elizabeth, Jesse, friends, and neighbors for their support and being there and for taking care of Humberto.
