IGNACIO GARRIDO

Ignacio Guerrero Garrido, 65, of Agana, Guam, passed on to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in San Angelo, Texas. Viewing will be held at 9:00 am, Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Robert Massie Funeral Home, with a Rosary and Mass following at 11:00 am. Father Charles Greenwell of Holy Angels Catholic Church will officiate. Ignacio was born in Agana, Guam on July 31, 1941. He retired from the U.S. Navy after serving 20 years, after which he also retired from the Department of Defense Police Department. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Ignacio is preceded by grandson Gabriel Santos. Ignacio is survived by his wife, Herminia Garrido, children: Shirley Dominguez and husband Henry Dominguez, Gregory Garrido and wife Stephanie Garrido, Melanie Garrido, Nadine Santos and husband Randy Santos; brothers, Henry Garrido and wife Nina Garrido, John Garrido, sister, Beatrice Lucuab and ten grandchildren. The family of Ignacio wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Lasater, all the nurses at Shannon Hospital, Hospice of San Angelo, and all the family and friends that supported us during this time.
