IRMA SALAZAR GUADARRAMA

Irma Guadarrama, 52, of Mertzon, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2005 at her residence. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father Joseph Vathalloor officiating. Burial will follow at Mertzon Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Irma was born September 18, 1952 in Sonora to Cruz and Josepha Salazar. She married her husband of six years, Johnny Guadarrama, on March 13, 1999 in Mertzon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cruz and Josepha Salazar; and a sister, Ofilia Salazar. Survivors include her husband, Johnny Guadarrama Sr. of Mertzon; sons, Johnny Guadarrama Jr. and Albert Perez of Mertzon; daughter, Amy Chacon and husband Jesse of Shafter, CA; brother, Ernest Salazar of Mesquite; sisters Emma Gutierrez, Margaret Slaughter both of Sweetwater, Martha Cornejo and Elosia Salazar both of Hamlin; grandchildren, Anndie K.Perez, Jo Dee E. Perez both of Big Lake; Stormi C. Chacon and Nathan P. Chacon both of Shafter, CA., three special God-children, Norelia, Marisol, and Baby Mark Sierra; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Daniel Salazar, Ramon Salazar, Martin Lemoines, Paul Montez, Alex Suarez and David Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Freddie Gutierrez, Rick Rojo, and Moses Afaro. The family extends a warm and loving thank you to everyone at Hospice of San Angelo and Dr. Cheruku and staff. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond's glint on snow, I am the sunlight on ripening grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet bids in circled flight; I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.
