He was born on November 18, 1962 and attended Western College in Colorado City and was employed by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice at the Price Daniel Unit. He was promoted to the rank of Sargent and was stationed at the Ft. Stockton Unit in Pecos, TX. During his life he had several jobs that he loved, which among them were, a chef in Dallas, TX. Going through manager training for Luby's Cafeteria in San Antonio. He worked as a HVAC technician for the San Angelo School district, then at Howard College in Brownwood and at San Angelo State University. Isaiah had a passion to build things and even had a greater love for his dogs Sandy, Candy, Bandit, Dusty and Rottweiler. Isaiah was once asked if he were to pass away and Saint Peter asked him who he would want to see first? His Mother or Father? He replied that the first person he would love to see was the face of the man who died on the cross for him! "Que Nuestro eterno padre te tenga en su eterno celestial". Pallbearers will be his brothers Alex and Gabriel Guerra, Daniel Herrera, Cameron Dolinsek, Fernando Tapia and Chris Ontiveros. Honorary pallbearers will be Isaiah's other brother Jose, brothers in law and sisters. The family of Isaiah wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the 6th floor of the Shannon Medical Center and to Dr. Alcocer for the loving care he gave to our brother... I truly believe there are angels among us. The family would also extend a sincere thanks to Senior Care Center and Hospice of San Angelo for their care during his final days. A special thanks to our brother Jose who unselfishly cared for Isaiah during his long battle with his illness. During good and bad Jose never left his side. Our Lord and Savior surely has reserved a special place in Heaven for you. "I come just as I am "
