Israel Garcia, 80 of San Angelo went to join his beloved wife, Agustina, and our Lord on Thursday March 24, 2011 at Senior Care of San Angelo nursing home. Rosary will be 7:00 PM Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 28, 2011 at Saint Mary's Catholic with Father David Herrera, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Aaron Gevara, Mario Sanchez Jr., Matt Sanchez, Dolores Rangel, Jr., Nathan Garcia and Jordan Aguirre. Israel is preceded in death by his loving wife, Agustina R. Garcia, and father, David Avila and his mother, Delfina Garcia , a sister, Sara Garcia and a brother, Oscar Avila. He is survived by his son, Johnny Garcia; daughters, Dora Rangel and husband, Dolores; Diola Lawor, all of San Angelo; Dalia Sanchez and husband, Mario of Lakeside, TX., Betty Maria Aguirre and husband, Rudy of Spring, Texas; a special grandson, Andrew Morin, who he raised as his son; 22 Grandchildren, 36 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
