IVY T. YOUNG

Ivy T. Young, 86, of San Angelo, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2004 in a local hospital. Family Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM, Sunday, December 26, 2004 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 27, 2004 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Rev. Mike Burson with Vista Care Hospice will be officiating. Burial will be held at Pear Valley Cemetery in Pear Valley, TX. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Ivy was born July 29, 1918 in Trickham, TX to Ivy James and Ida Young. Ivy was owner of a Cable Television Co. and was also a rancher. He was an avid Ham Operator, silent key W5PNL. He married Bertha Gibson October 17, 1938 in Menard. Ivy and Bertha provided their family with a loving and heartfelt home. He was a quiet person with a great sense of humor and a lot of wisdom. He loved his family and especially, of course, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ivy will remain in our hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy James and Ida Young, brother Bill Young and sister Dorothy Baulkum. Survivors are: Wife:Bertha Young Two sons:Carl Young And wife, Glenda Don Young And wife, Edna One Sister:Louise Starr All of San Angelo One sister-in-law: Wilma Young Of Austin Numerous Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
