Jack Nance, 84, of San Angelo passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at his residence. Family visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Garden of Memory Cemetery in Comanche, TX with Pastor Johnny Touchstone officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Jack was born on November 18, 1928 in Stanton, TX to Erby and Jesse Nance. Jack married Joye Ann Brinson on November 11, 1949 in Crane, TX. He served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict reaching the rank of Sgt before being wounded and sent stateside. Jack was an avid bowler who was well known in the bowling community. Jack was a very loving and devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by wife, Joye A. Nance, two brothers Bill Nance and James Nance; and his parents. Jack is survived by his daughters Marsha Ann Dupree and husband, Jimmy; Jacqueline Webb; grandsons Casey J. Jones; Sohn J. Dupree and wife, Bethany; Mark A. Dupree; great-grandchildren Corey, Micheala, Cameron and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Operation Smile Org, 6435 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, VA 23509 The family would like to express our thanks to all the ladies of Interim Hospice; you were truly a blessing in our lives.
