James Hurley, of San Angelo, passed away on December 26, 2018. He was born in November 18, 1981 in Big Spring to Vickie (Terral) & Calley Hurley. He married Lisa Collier on June 12, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. He graduated from Iraan High School and Angelo State University with a B. S. in Criminal Justice. He worked for Hospice of San Angelo as DME manager for 14 years and loved every minute of it. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson. Lisa, Grace and Emily were his world, from movie night to video gaming with Grace and Emily loved playing with his fluffy beard. His compassion and patience were never ending. James Hurley is preceded in death by his grandfathers; Kenneth Terral and Tom Hurley. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Collier; two daughters, Grace Spurgin and Emily Spurgin; his father, Calley Hurley and wife Debra of San Angelo; his mother, Vickie Cheyne and husband Keith of Del Rio; his sister, Becky Chesworth and husband Zac of Big Spring; two grandmothers, Barbara Hurley, Venitta Williams and husband Red Williams all of San Angelo; two nephews, Carter Chesworth and Jackson Chesworth both of Big Spring and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Viewing will be 11:00am to 1:00pm Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral will be held 2:00pm Wednesday January 2, 2019 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Kevin Mc Donald, officiating. Burial will follow at 12:00 noon on Friday January 4, 2019 at Morris Ranch Hilcrest Cemetery in Fredericksburg, TX. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home.
