James Barnett Miller III

James Barnett Miller III, 76, of San Angelo passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2024 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Frank Berthold, of North Chadbourne Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Miller was born on August 14, 1947 in Lubbock. He a graduated from the University of Texas with a masters of pharmacology. He was a pharmacist at Community Hospital for over 20 years. James married Margie McGara on November 4, 2013. His hobbies included participating in barbecue and chili cook-offs. He was a strong willed, big hearted gentleman with a large smile. James loved baking and eating cookies with the kids and was affectionately known as the "cookie monster". One of his favorite leisure activities was sitting on his front porch and watching nature.

He is preceded in death by a son, Kyle Miller.

James is survived by his wife Margie;4 children Drew Miller and wife Tena, Missy Doggett, Heather Chagolla, and Brandy Moore and her husband Thomas; and seven grandchildren.
