JANE S. (JUANITA) FLORES

Jane "Juanita" S. Flores, 87, of San Angelo passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in Robert Lee, TX. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2011 at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Monsignor Maurice Voity officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Jane was born in San Angelo on April 19, 1923 to Antonio M. and Jesusita (Ronquillo) Sosa. She married Sam R. "Samuel" Flores on December 5, 1950 in Robert Lee. Jane was very proud to be commissioned as a Tom Green Sheriff's Deputy. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, a sister, a granddaughter; Suzena "Chena" Gonzales and a grandson; James Gonzales. She is survived by son, Manuel Gonzales and wife, Amanda of San Angelo; son, Robert Gonzales of San Angelo; daughter, Linda Flores Deaton and husband, Wendell, Jr. of Bedford; daughter, Adelita Guerra and husband, Juan of San Angelo; sister-in-law, Clara Sosa of San Angelo; granddaughter, Katherine "Kathy" Gonzales of San Angelo; grandson, Daniel "Danny" Gonzales and wife, Mary Helen of Round Rock; grandson, Robert Gonzales, Jr. and wife, Vicki of Kennedale, TX; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Sosa, Armando Sosa, Gus Sosa, Jr., David Sosa, Neri Sosa, Jr., Robert Gonzales, Jr., and Daniel Gonzales. The family would like to extend a thank you to Jane's extended family at Rio Concho Terrace and the staff of Robert Lee Care Center for all the support and loving care they have shown Jane.
