JANET GEORGIA EARNEST

Janet Georgia Earnest, 71, of San Angelo passed away Friday, January 27, 2006 in a local hospital. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 30, 2006 at Belvedere Memorial Park with Dorothy Pustka officiating. Georgia was born August 3, 1934 in Ballinger to W.F. "Dub" and Lavada Blanton. She was a homemaker and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband James N. Earnest. Janet is survived by two sons, Doug Earnest and wife Sara of Mineral Wells and Jimmy Earnest of Baird; daughter Cindy Childs and husband Jon of Carlsbad, TX; brothers Chuck Blanton of Comanche and Ronnie Hill and wife Pat of Lampasas; sister Brenda Blanton of Comanche; step-father Carl Hill of Abilene; grandchildrenMisty Henson and husband, Rod, Cody Childs and wife Vicki, Jon Childs Jr. and wife Shandy, B.J. Earnest, Houston Earnest and Ashley Earnest, five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cody Childs, Jon Childs Jr., B.J. Earnest, Houston Earnest and Rod Henson.
