Jimmy Griffin

Jimmy Gayle Griffin, 78, of San Angelo passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Fairmount Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Maxwell of Church of Pentecost II officiating. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Jimmy was born on June 16, 1934 in San Angelo to Jimmie and Lila (Rhymes) Griffin. Jimmy was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing, racing cars and motorcycles. He loved his family, friends and the Lord. Jimmy married Jewell "Judy" Goode on November 29, 1952 in San Angelo, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother and a special aunt. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Jewell Griffin of Christoval, a daughter, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
