Jo Angus

Jo Angus, 87 of San Angelo passed away Saturday April 27, 2013 at a local care center. Graveside services will be 10:00am Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Resthaven Cemetery in Brady with Chaplain Ellen King, Odyssey Hospice officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Jo was born November 25, 1925 in Brady to Lonnie J. and Essie L. (Elliott) Milburn. She graduated from Rochelle High School and Texas Women's University in Denton. After graduating she moved to San Angelo and worked as a bookkeeper until she married Richard T. Angus on July 14, 1956 in Brady. Jo liked to read, cook and loved to dance to big band music. She and Richard would often go out dancing to the Big Band music they both loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Llanona Carothers. Survivors include her nieces; Brenda Hennekes and Janan Carothers and nephew; David Carothers, two great nephews, five great nieces and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
