JOAN E. RUGGIERO

Joan E. Ruggiero, 77, of San Angelo passed away on July 4, 2009 at a local hospital. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Charles Smith officiating. Joan was born on August 17, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA to Charles and Amelia Etter. She was a homemaker and an avid quilter. Joan was able to light up the room whenever she entered. Joan is survived by daughter, La Donna Knaus and husband, Paul of San Antonio; daughter, Teresa Sanchez and husband, Richard of San Angelo; son, Alan Di Eva and wife, Janet of TN; son, Anthony Ruggiero of NJ; special friend, Frank Rauscher of San Angelo; grandchildren, Heather Reyes and husband, Robert of San Antonio; Brenden Nealon of San Diego, CA; Jennifer Martinez and husband, Randy of Llano; Richie Sanchez of San Angelo; step-granddaughter, Becky Martinez of Del Rio and seven great-grandchildren.
