Joan Wilma Wesson

Joan Wilma Wesson, 81, of San Angelo, passed away on Monday July 11, 2016 at a local care center. She was born on October 13, 1934 to Raymond and Frances (Bauer) Wintz in Danbury, Iowa. On September 2, 1950 she married Dell Ray Wesson in Reno, NV. She loved to spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by husband, Dell Ray, parents; daughter, Susan Louise Hawley, grandsons, Robert Wesson, Jr. and Billie Stevens, brother, Irving Wintz, sisters, Kathy Golf, Geneva Moore and Ione Fritz. Joan is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Keven) Allen of Gilroy, CA, son, Robert (Irma) Wesson of San Angelo, grandson, Christopher Allen of Queen Creek, AZ, granddaughter, Traci Allen of Costa Mesa, CA, grandson, Aaron Hale of Livingston, NJ, granddaughters, Samantha Wesson, Cassandra Wesson, grandsons, Raymond Wesson, Jesus Lopez all of San Angelo, granddaughter, Brenda Custer of El Paso, great-granddaughters, Madilyn Allen of Queen Creek, AZ, Anaya Hale of Livingston, NJ, great-grandsons, Noah Hale, Aden Hale both of Livingston, NJ, great-grandsons, Liam Walstad, Dylan Piegzik both of Queen Creek, AZ, great-granddaughter, Alexis Lopez of San Angelo, great-granddaughter, Bianca Custer, great-grandson, Braylon Custer both of El Paso, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 10am to 8pm on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held on 2:00pm Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Charles Smith, pastor of New Life Ministries, officiating.
