JOHN FIELDS

John Hayley Fields, 70, long time businessman and resident of San Angelo passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008 at his home after a courageous 10 year battle with lymphoma. He will be remembered for his courage and compassion to others. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Bro. Rody Chesser of Hillcrest Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Simmons Fields; his father, Robert Wesley Fields and his mother, Vivian Hayley Fields. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Tod and Denise Fields of McKinney, Texas; their daughters; Lauren Tatum attending North Texas University in Denton, Texas and Hayley Fields attending Palm Beach Atlantic University in Palm Beach, Florida; sister and brother in law, Phyllis and R. V. Brimer of Bald Knob, Arkansas; and brother and sister in law, Kim and Carol Fields of San Angelo, Texas., a special friend, Theresa Allen of San Angelo and many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
