John Warren Delone

John Warren Delone, 80, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020, in San Angelo.

Public viewing will be from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM Wednesday, May 6, 2020, by invitation only at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Due to the current health crisis in our community and the directives given by State and Local Governments, we must abide by the directive limiting gatherings to 25% occupancy. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Delone was born February 8, 1940, in Voss. John was a lifelong resident of San Angelo where he became well known and loved by many. John as a young man started working at Producers Livestock and retired after 40plus years. "John will be loved and missed by all!" The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Arbor Terrace, Robert Massie Funeral Home, Rev. Walter Masters, and Serena with hospice for there loving care and consideration.

Survivors include a sister, Lillie Lorene Runkles; a brother Ray Nelson Delone and wife Carolyn; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. John was preceded in death by His parents, Kelly Lawrence Delone and Myrtle Viola (Foreman) Delone; three brothers, Harvey Delone, Darvey Delone, and Allen Delone; four sisters, Marie Kirkendall, Emmalene Kirkendall, Myrtle Faye McNabb, and Laura Mae Chapman.
