Johnny was born in Lubbock on April 2, 1960, to his parents Eugene and Dorothy Walker Carson. He worked as a truck driver until his health declined. Johnny was a character! He could bring a smile to anyone's face and loved to laugh. He enjoyed engaging with people, especially his family. He was also a great chef and loved preparing food for family and friends alike. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Carson; and four brothers, Lawrence E. Douglas, Charles L. Coleman, Jimmy Ephrim and Ricky Lee Carson. Johnny is survived by his wife Carol, who he married in 2012; his mother, Dorothy Walker; his daughters, Melisa Carson and Lovely Baity; four grandchildren, Kyri McPhail, Tatianna Carson, Jay Baity and Kaceon Carson; his three sisters, Sarah Brightmon of Los Angeles, Carolyne Bien-Aime of San Angelo and Lena Carson also of San Angelo; his five brothers, Leon Coleman and his wife Evelyn of Amarillo, Edward Coleman of Lubbock, Larry Carson and his wife Tina of Amarillo, Benny Carson and James Carson both of San Angelo; and a host of nieces and nephews.
