JOSE CASTILLO

Jose Castillo, 67, of San Angelo, passed away Monday, October 1, 2007 in a local hospital. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Arturo Aguero of Templo Siloe officiating. Burial will follow in the Latin American section of Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Jose was born December 6, 1939 in Millersview, Texas to Jose "Chema" and Julia Castillo. He worked as a cabinet maker and for Terrill Manufacturing for numerous years. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Rudolfo "Rudy" Castillo and brother Jesse "Chuy" Castillo. Survivors are his daughters Julia Ortega and husband, Francisco of Abilene, Texas; Elizabeth Jenkins and husband, Steve of Ballinger, Texas; sons Joe Castillo and wife, Ann of Munda, Western Australia; Adam Castillo and wife, Norma, David Castillo and wife, Martha all of San Angelo; and Tony Castillo and wife, Princess of Wiona, Missouri; sisters Marcos Cano, Hortencia Zapata and Amelia Fuentes and husband, Beni all of San Angelo; seventeen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a special Aunt Eloisa Zuniga and his good fishing buddy Rudy Sevier. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Castillo, Cole Castillo, Brian Castillo, Sergio Castillo, Mario Zapata and Mark Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Castillo, Jesse Castillo, Joseph Castillo and Quinlann Castillo.
