Jose Guadalupe Jaquez Cruz

Jose Guadalupe Cruz Jaquez, age 76, entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in San Angelo surrounded by his family.

A public viewing will be held at Robert Massie Funeral Home on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM. A rosary will be said at 1:00 PM in the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Jose will be taken back to Mexico for burial. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Jose was born September 23, 1944 born in El Duranzo, Chalchihuites Zacatecas, Mexico to his parents Esteban Cruz and Gregoria Jaquez. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with the farm animals and loved riding horses. He was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a very independent man, who adored his family and his dog Cholo. He had a very strong character and he was always there no matter what. He always took pride in helping everyone around him. He was someone you could always count on. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and friends.

Jose was preceded in Death by a son, Victorino Cruz; sisters, Lionela Cruz and Manuela Cruz; by his brothers, Esteban Cruz and Salvador Cruz; and by grandchildren- Alejandro Cruz and Rosa Cruz

He is survived by his wife Audelia Jaques Cruz; by his children, Armando Cruz, Beneranda Cruz, Teresa Cruz, Basilisa Cruz, Cornelio Cruz, Carmella Cruz, Manuela Elva Cruz, Sergio Angel Cruz; by his sister, Ascension Cruz; by his brothers, Inosente Cruz, Rafael Cruz, Miguel Angel Cruz, and Roberto Cruz; by his grandchildren, Lene Ramos, Michelle Ramos, Jeanette Ramos, Giovani Pablo, Armando Cruz, Diana Cruz, Jose Antonio Miranda, Jose Manuel Miranda, Bernardo Miranda, Yoseline Miranda, Yurisa Guzman, Alondra Guzman, Laura Fuentes, Victor Fuentes, Jacqueline Cruz, Rita Gonzales, Manuel Gonzales; and by his great grandchildren, Nicholas Ramos, Aleah Ramos, Diana Paola, and Daniella.
