Jose Cruz Gonzales - Gurrola, 45 of San Angelo went to be with the Lord following a tragic accident. Viewing will be 12:00 to 8:00pm Saturday February 15, 2015 at Robert Massie Funeral Home and 1:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday February 16, 2014 with a Memorial service at 4:00pm at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday February 17, 2014 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Bob Beaver of Christian Church of San Angelo, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Jose was born May 3, 1968 in Piedra Azueles, Mexico to Arturo and Alvina (Gurrola) Gonzales. Jose's wife and children were the loves of his life, he was a loving grandfather, son, brother and friend. A long time resident of Leadville, Colorado, He moved to San Angelo and enjoyed the Texas life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a talented stone mason. He will greatly miss him. Pallbearers will be Heriberto Gonzales, Arturo Gonzales, Arturo Gonzales, Rolando Gonzales and Hugo Lujan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mario Cisneros and Abel Gonzales. Survivors include his wife; Yolanda Gonzales, a son; Heriberto Chaves - Gonzales, daughter; Jennifer Gonzales ( Arturo Gonzales) and two granddaughters; Renata and Regina, parents; Arturo and Alvina Gonzales, all of San Angelo, 5 brothers; Arturo (Claribel)Gonzales,Julian ( Angelica) Gonzales, Alberto (Vianca) Gonzales all of Leadville, CO., Roland (Yahira) of San Angelo and Enrique (Paulina) Gonzales of Oakland, CA., two sisters; Belen (Mario) Cisneros and Edith Gonzales all of San Angelo, many nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and very special friends.
