Jose M. Lopez

Jose M. Lopez, 83, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord on Friday August 18, 2017 in San Angelo He was born on May 9, 1934 to Meterio and Maria (Martinez) Lopez in Carrizo Springs, TX. Jose worked for the Street and Bridge department for the city of San Angelo. On June 1, 1955, he married Ramona Nava on June 1, 1955 in San Angelo. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings; Frank Lopez, Carmen Acosta, Juanita Tambungia, Rosa Sanchez and Ernesto Lopez. Pallbearers will be Richard Bastardo Jody Rodriguez, Lupe Sanchez, Santos Ramon, Pete Rocha and Joe Garcia III. Jose is survived by his loving spouse of 62 years, Ramona Lopez, daughter, Linda Lopez, grandchildren are Noe R Montes, Valerie (Armando Martinez) Montes, Vanessa (Deon Morgan) Montes, step grandchildren are Richard C. Bastardo, Jesse Bastardo and Shantelle Bastardo. Rosary is 7:00pm Wednesday August 23, 2017 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00am Thursday, August 24, 2017, St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
