Jose Luis Sanchez Lopez

Jose Luis Sanchez Lopez, 63, of Bronte, passed away on December 8, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Viewing will be 10am to 8pm on Wednesday December 10, 2014 and 8am to 8pm on Thursday December 11, 2014 at Robert Massie Funeral Home, San Angelo, Texas. Funeral services will be held on 2pm Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, with Evaristo Granado, pastor of Roscoe Worship Center, officiating. Burial will take place in the Blackwell Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. He was born on November 24, 1951 to Refugio and Rosalia (Lopez) Sanchez in Mexico. Jose was self employed in fencing and ranching. On December 2, 1979 he married Armandina Rios in Cd. Acuna, Mexico. Jose and Armandina lived in Bronte, Texas. He loved his animals, horseback riding, gardening, music and working on his ranch. He especially loved the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren. Pallbearers will be sons and sons in law. He was preceded in death by mother, Rosalia Lopez, father, Refugio Sanchez, son, Jose Luis Sanchez Jr., five sisters, and two brothers. Jose is survived by his loving spouse of 35 years Armandina, two daughters, Nancy Sanchez and husband, Alex Garcia, Rosalia Sanchez and husband, Eugene Lopez all of Roscoe, TX; three sons, Jesse and wife, Gracie Sanchez of Laredo, TX, Daniel Sanchez and partner Michael Dungan of San Angelo, TX, Salvador Sanchez of Bronte, TX; brother, Juan Manuel Sanchez Lopez of Mexico. Our family wants to extend a special thank you to the Dr.'s, nurses and staff at Gentiva Hospice for the loving care during our time with them.
