Jose Perez

Jose Angelo Perez, Sr., 55, passed away June 18, 2024, in San Angelo.

Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Monday with a Prayer service being at 6:00 PM, June 24, 2024, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Perez was born October 5, 1968 to Jose Perez and Angelina Flores in Acuña, Mexico. Jose has been a resident of San Angelo since 1977. He attended Del Rio High School. Jose married Abegaid "Abby" Nápoles on November 15, 2000 in San Angelo. Jose owned and operated J. P. Distributing since 2005. He was amember of CCM Church, where he used his God given talent to sing in the Praise and Worship Ministry. Jose will be remembered as a "Jokester". He liked to go shooting at the gun club and he loved watching boxing.

Survivors include his wife, Abby Perez of the home; a daughter, Janeska Perez of Miami Beach, Florida; three sons, Jose Angel Perez, Jr. of San Antonio, Zach Perez of Ballinger, and Ivan Daniel Perez of San Angelo; two grandchildren, Catriel and Cairo; his mother, Angelina Rodriguez and husband Juan; a sister, Patricia Escobedo and husband Leo of San Antonio, a brother, Rudy Perez and wife Melissa of Del Rio; several half-sisters and half-brothers.
