Jose Alfredo Sarzosa, 54, of San Angelo, passed away on Tuesday September 6, 2016 at a local care center He was born on April 16, 1962 to Jose and Rosa (Tamez) Sarzosa in San Angelo, TX. Jose worked as a ginner for Westside Gin in Wall, TX. On October 14, 1978 he married Josephine Salas in San Angelo. He was a big fan of westerns. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Elizabeth Sarzosa, brother, Armando Guadalupe Sarzosa, Sr., sisters, Cruz Velen Guerrero and Lorie Pilar Govea. Jose is survived by his loving spouse of 38 years Josephine Sarzosa, daughters, Victoria Carrillo of Grape Creek, Maria (Amanda Ibarra) Valles, Teresa (Ruben) Mendez all of San Angelo, daughter, Francies (Christopher) Mauer of San Antonio sons, Jose Alfredo Sarzosa, Jr., Jose Luis Mata both of San Angelo, grandchildren are Ismael, Stephanie and Lilly Carrillo, Eric Valles Jr. and Gabi Valles, Brandon Mendez, Ruben Mendez Jr., Victoria Mendez, Michelle Mendez, Cameron Sarzosa, Rachael and Mackenzie Mauer, Daniel Mata, brothers, Jose Francisco (Idalia) Sarzosa, Jr. and Adrian Sarzosa all of San Angelo Viewing will be 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday September 11, 2016 and Monday from 8:00am to 8:00pm with rosary at 7:00pm at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00am Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Church with Father Ryan Rojo, officiating. Burial will take place in the Eola Mereta Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
