Josefina Gonzales

Josefina Urias Gonzales, age 92 of San Angelo, entered the gates of heaven on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

Josefina was born April 19, 1929, in San Antonio, Texas to Margarito and Alexandra Flores Urias.
She married Santiago Gonzales and the couple had four children. Josefina was widowed at a young age and left to raise her children on her own. Her strength and courage were unmatched, and she worked tirelessly to provide and support her family.
Josefina was a thoughtful and compassionate woman who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed getting together and in fact, her joy was found in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her smile would light up a room when she saw family coming. She also had a deep faith in the word of God. She lived her life based on the principles God's of love, forgiveness, mercy, and grace.
Josefina was preceded in death by her parents and by all her siblings.
She is survived by her four children, Diana Guerrero and her husband Pablo T. of Pocatello, Idaho, Delia Meza and her husband Robert, Carlos Gonzales and his wife Sylvia, and Jim Gonzales and his wife Elma all of San Angelo; eleven grandchildren; and twenty four great grandchildren.
