Juan Garcia

It is with great pain and sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and husband, Juan Raul Garcia, on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at his home.

Juan was born on July 16, 1954, in Villa Union, Coahuila, Mexico. In 1975, he married the love of his life, Maria Cruz Castaneda, and shared a life full of many beautiful memories alongside his two daughters. Juan enjoyed singing, traveling, playing pool, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his two daughters, Elva Vazquez and her husband, Ariel Vazquez, Victoria Gutierrez and her husband, Oswaldo Gutierrez. Juan's pride and joy were his grandchildren, who will miss him dearly: Bryan, Brianna, Brooke Vazquez, Tristan, and Travis Gutierrez.

He is also survived by his sisters, Olivia Torres, Enedelia Garcia, Velia Garcia, and Rosie Mares-Garcia of Villa Union, Coahuila, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Juan's public viewing will be from 12:00 PM, noon, until 8:00 PM, with the Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass will take place at 10:00 AM Friday, August 9, 2024, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Ariel Lagunilla, officiating. Burial will follow at Miles Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
