Juan Oritz Perez, 78 of San Angelo died Friday May 6, 2011 at his residence. Rosary will be 7:00 PM Monday May 9, 2011 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday May 10, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Emilio Sosa, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Juan was born July 21, 1932 in Del Rio, Texas to Jose and Victoria Ortiz Perez. He was a custodian at Shannon St. John's. Juan married Carolina Gonzales on December 24, 1983 in San Angelo. He loved to garden and to have his grandchildren around him. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Julio Perez, Ismail Martinez and Lupe Garcia and one sister, Frances Reyes. Pallbearers will be Sammy Garcia, Armando Perez, Jr., Andrew Perez, Thomas Moncibias, Edson DeHoyas, Michael Gonzales, Matthew Gonzales and Juan Carlos Ramirez. Survivors include his wife, Carolina Perez of San Angelo; a son, Ruben Gonzales and wife, Sylvia of Ballinger, two daughters; Anna Gonzales of San Angelo and Vickie Moncibias and husband, Tony, of San Antonio and a son; Robert Gonzales and wife, Shawn of San Angelo; sons, Jose Perez and wife, Ortencia of Midland, Juan Perez Jr. and wife, Bernadina of Midland, Armando and Freda Perez of Ballinger; daughters; Margaret Mota and husband, Ramon and Esmeralda Perez, both of Ballinger; 21 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; Brothers, Ramiro Reyes, Seprano Reyes, Margarito Arteaga; Sisters; Gracia Rios, Juanita Perez, Antonia Reyes and Ceclia Reyes and Sisters - in- law; Rosa Perez and Felipa Garcia
