Juana Zuniga, 78, passed peacefully in the early hours of Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Erica Ruiz, pastor at Celestial Throne Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Juana was born December 31, 1943, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to the late Delfino and Socorro Aguilar. She married the late Ramon Zuniga on January 30, 1970, in San Antonio, Texas. They settled in San Angelo, Texas where they had two children.
Juana devoted her life to serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and attended Centro Emmanuel Church. Serving the Lord was the center of her life and from this passion stemmed her love for people. Juana was known for her kindness and her doors were always open to those in need of a tender heart and a loving prayer.
In addition to her husband and parents, Juana joins her brothers, Alejandro Aguilar and Elias Aguilar in the loving arms of the Father in glory. She is survived by her two children Aurora Martinez and Ramon Zuniga Jr., her granddaughter Brandy Hernandez, great-grandchildren Victor Sanchez Jr., Sienna Hernandez, Ezekiel Hernandez, and her brother Santos Aguilar, and sisters Lidia Perales, Tomasa Aguilar, Fortunata Aguilar, Felisa Aguilar, Amparo Aguilar, Aurora Aguilar and Trinidad Alvarado.
