Juanita S. Perez

Juanita S. Perez, 82, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday October 16, 2011 in a local hospital. A Rosary will be held at 7:00pm Tuesday October 18, 2011 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday October 19, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Deacon Roy Ibarra, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Juanita was born on May 6, 1929 to Cecilo and Ester (Garcia) Salazar in San Angelo, Texas. She married Jesus G. "Sonny" Perez on February 7, 1948 in San Angelo, Texas and they were married for 59 years until his passing on December 14, 2007. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Rosalinda De La Cruz of San Angelo; a son, Jesus "Sonny" Perez, Jr. of Euelles; Grandchildren; Rick De La Cruz, Stephanie Perez and Erica Perez and four great-grandchildren.
