Juanita F. Villarreal, 90, of San Angelo, passed away on April 17, 2017 in a local hospital. Juanita was born on November 18, 1926 to Rufino and Reina (Eubalde) Flores in Bryan, TX. On December 24, 1945, she married Elizandro Salomon Villarreal in Corpus Christi. Juanita was a Prayer Warrior, read her Bible everyday and enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was one of the last surviving founders of Segunda Iglesia Bautista. Juanita loved everyone she met and especially her family. Juanita is survived by daughter, Maria G. Flores, granddaughters, Bertha Terrazas, Corina Espinoza, Lorina Rodriguez all of San Angelo, Esmeralda Villarreal of Amarillo, Tanya Erickson of Tulsa, OK; grandsons, Elizandro Villarreal of Goodland, KS, Manuel Villarreal of Tulsa, OK; 16 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents Rufino and Reina (Eubalde) Flores, husband, Elizandro Salomon Villarreal, son, Manuel Villarreal, sister, Inez Flores and brother Juan Flores. Family visitation will be held 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the Harris Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Darrell Smith, officiating under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Drs. John Hunt and Milton Leon, Intrepid nurses and therapists and Outreach Worker, Ms. Juanita Morales, Shannon Medical Center ER along with 6th floor nurses and staff.
