Julia Williams Baker, 31, of Irving and formerly of San Angelo, was received into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. She was born March 5, 1981 in San Angelo, Texas to Kathy and Michael Williams. Julia graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1999 and attended Angelo State University. Julia and Marty Baker were married on June 27, 2003 and were blessed with one daughter, Michaela, the light of her life. Julia was a loving wife, devoted mother, loyal sister, caring daughter and true friend to many. At the time of her passing, Julia had recently achieved a promotion as Implementation Manager for Health Management Systems. She formerly worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield and DCS in San Angelo. Julia was a member of Lake View Bible Church. Julia is preceded in death by her father, Michael Williams, and grandfather Maurice Valis. Julia is survived by husband Marty Baker, daughter Michaela Baker, mother Kathy Williams, step-daughter Chanelle Baker, sister and brother-in-law Chelsea and Adam Durham, nephew Peter Durham, grandmothers Liz Valis and Genevieve Bannert, great-grandmother Clara Valis, and numerous other relatives and friends. Julia was a special young woman who excelled in all areas of her life and was truly loved and admired by those who knew her. There are no words to express the void created by her passing. Viewing will be from 1:00pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday July 15, 2012 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Services will be held 11:00am Monday July 16, 2012 at Robert Massie Funeral Home Chapel and officiated by Reverend Scooter McCurdy, of Lake View Bible Church.
