Mrs. Julia Garza Guerra, 77, of San Angelo Texas, went to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on June 6, 2007 in San Angelo, Texas. Visitation will be held at 7 PM, Friday June 8, 2007 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday June 9, 2007 at Robert Massie Funeral Home with the Rev. J. T. Tucker of Vista Care Hospice of San Angelo, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie funeral Home. Julia was born in San Antonio, Texas to Pedro and Vicenta Garza on April 15, 1930. She went to school at J.T. Breckenridge in San Antonio Texas. She married Rev. Bonifacio P. Guerra in Luling ,Texas. She worked as a witness for Jesus Christ all of her life. She along with her husband led a crusade, ministering to everyone, regardless of race, color, religion, rich or poor. Julia would always say that God didn't need judges. He needed witnesses. She was involved in religious activities throughout her life. Julia is preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Pedro and Vicenta Garza, a brother Mr. Luis Garza and her husband the Rev. Bonifacio P. Guerra. Julia is survived by her son, Richard and wife Belinda Guerra; son Lee Guerra of Lubbock Texas; son Pedro Guerra of Sequin Texas; son Paul Guerra; son Cornelio and wife Ester Guerra of Denver Colorado; son Miguel and wife Diana of Plains Texas; son Alex and wife Connie Guerra of Big Spring Texas; son Jose Guerra; son Isaiah Guerra; son Gabriel and wife Connie Lynn Guerra of San Angelo Texas; daughter Julia G. and husband George Reyes; daughter Pauline and husband Ben Martinez; daughter Rose Mary Guerra all of San Angelo Texas; daughter Mary Elizabeth Guerra of Bryan, Texas; sister Juanita Romo; sister Antonio Sembrano; sister Ramona Garza of San Antonio Texas; 33 Grand children and 31 Great Grand Children. Pallbearers will be Alex Guerra, Gabriel Guerra, Lee Guerra, Pedro Guerra, Robert Ramirez and Ben Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Julia's sons and daughters and a very special friend of the family, who was like a son to her, the late Louis Ramirez. Memorials may be given to any church or charity.
