JUNE BARTHOLOMEO

June Bartholomeo, 76, of San Angelo passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at her residence. Family visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 14, 2007 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. James Mitchell with Immanuel Baptist Church officiating. June was born March 30, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York to Isadore and Bertha Horowitz. She met and married Albert on January 19, 1952 in Brooklyn and had been married for 55 years. She worked for Central Isip State Hospital and as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for 30 years before retiring and moving to San Angelo fourteen years ago. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She dearly loved all her children. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Valerie Kramer and grandson Robert Bartholomeo. Survivors are her husband Albert Bartholomeo; son Frank Bartholomeo and wife, Kay; son Steve Bartholomeo; daughters Christine Bartholomeo and Diane Bartholomeo all of San Angelo, Texas; seven grandchildren Rusty, Nick, Nicole, Shannon, Joseph, Dennis and June; eight great-grandchildren Abby, Bailey, Mathieu, Robert James, Eric, Jacquillyn, Jacob and Alexander; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Ahmed, Dr. Joe Kasberg, all the nursing staff at Medway Home Health, Community Wound Care and Hospice of San Angelo for all the wonderful care given to our loving June.
