KAY MITHCELL

Kay Mitchell, 74 of San Angelo passed away Thursday May 13, 2010 at her residence. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday May 15, 2010 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Jim Benson, Chaplain of Shannon Medical Center, officiating. Kay was born November 19, 1935 in Jal, New Mexico to Don and Hazel (Bradford) Gillit. She married Don Mitchell on September 4, 1959 in Kermit, Texas and they shared 47 wonderful years together until his passing on December 20, 2006. She is preceded in death by her husband, a son, Patrick Mitchell, brothers; Donald B. Gillit and Kenneth Gillit and one sister, Virginia Armstrong. Survivors include; son, Robert Mitchell and wife, Karla of Ft. Stockton, Tx.; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Brininstool of San Angelo; grandson, Drew Mitchell of Brighton, Michigan; granddaughter, Kaitlin Mitchell of San Angelo; special nephew, Mitchell Brininstool and wife, T. J. of San Angelo and brother, Harold Gillit of Salt Lake City, Utah.
