KENNETH GLENN JONES

Kenneth was born May 4, 1941 in McCaulley, Texas to C.W. and Lois Jones. He passed away on August 21, 2009 at a local nursing home in San Angelo. He graduated in 1959 from Midland High School and from West Texas State University in Canyon in 1968 with a Bachelor'™s degree in Marketing. Kenneth served four years in the U.S. Air Force stationed in the Austin area. He married Nelda Swenson in 1962. He worked for oil companies most of his life and then started driving trucks, where most of his stories came. He retired in Tennessee and moved to San Angelo two years ago to be closer to family. He was preceded in death by his father, C.W. Jones; mother, Lois Jones; and brother, Jay W. Jones. He is survived by his sons, Donnie Jones of San Angelo and Terry Jones of Ft. Stockton; grandsons, Codi and Bradley Jones of San Angelo and Joshua Jones of Crane; brother Donnie and wife Brenda Jones of Hobbs, New Mexico; and uncle, Floyd Auldridge of Arkansas.
