Kyle Dayton Hayes, 74 of San Angelo died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at an area hospital. Family visitation will be 6PM to 8PM Monday, July 9, 2007 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tommy King, of Johnson Street Church of Christ, officiating. Kyle was born July 25,1932 in San Saba, Texas to Bonnie Faye and Gracie Lee Bracken Hayes. After serving in the U.S. Army, Kyle and Charlotte owned and operated Hayes Construction Co. He traveled all over the state of Texas during the last 55 years building concrete stock tanks and troughs. Kyle was very well known for the excellent work that he prided himself in. He was the greatest Husband, Daddy and Papaw that anyone of us could have ever asked for. He married Charlotte Hutchinson on June 3, 1956 in Monticello, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son Kyle Steven Hayes. Survivors include: his wife, Charlotte Hayes of San Angelo; two daughters; Debra Hayes Phillips and husband, Mark, of San Angelo; Kristi Bowling and husband, Jeff of Midland; a son Gary Lyn Hayes and his wife, Jonette of Houston;a daughter-in-law, Jean Hayes of San Angelo; a brother, Kenneth Hayes and wife, Joveta of Water Valley; a sister, Bonnie Smith and husband, Andy ofSan Angelo;a mother-in-law, Katie Hutchinson of San Angelo; ten grandchildren;Katie Loehman and husband, Eddie of Christoval; Beth Andrews and husband, Curtis of Odessa; Wes Hayes and wife, April of San Angelo; Monty Hayes and fiance Johnathon Denson of San Angelo; Gary Hayes and wife, Kristie of Houston; Geoffrey Hayes and fiance Windy Crips of San Angelo; Kylie and Blake Phillips of San Angelo; Madison and Hunter McClain of Midland; Six great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren due in December; and numerous nieces and nephews. The grandsons will be pallbearers. The family wishes to thank the San Angelo Fire Department and the Staff at SanAngelo Community Medical Center. Memorials may be sent in Kyle's name to the American Heart Association or The America Diabetes Association.
