Larry Rowland

Larry Rowland, 78, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in San Angelo.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Larry was born July 7, 1946 in Keota, Oklahoma to Oscar and Eula Duncan Rowland. He joined the Army in 1966 and later relocated to Midland, Texas where he would live for the next several years. In 2019 he made San Angelo his home. Larry was an auto body mechanic for several years and loved to restore old cars. He also loved fishing and playing softball but his true compassion was riding motorcycles.

He is preceded in death by his parents; five siblings, Elmer, Ed, Charlene, Dazzy, Robert and Darlene.

Larry is survived by two sons, Rick Rowland and wife Sydney, and James Rowland both of Midland; one brother, Jimmy Rowland; four grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
