On August 15, 2019, in San Angelo, TX Larry Wooten decided to cash in his poker chips and join in on the BIG Game with the Big Guy upstairs. He will be dearly missed. Larry Wooten was born in Columbus, MS to Helen Wooten & Charles Wooten on March 17, 1945. He married Patricia Davis on November 7, 1976 and then created a family. They ultimately did separate in 1997, but remained friends and co-parents. He worked as a mechanic for over 50 years. His talent in figuring out puzzles and breaking things apart and putting back together was intriguing to many. He was a veteran and served in the Army as a young adult. He did not like talking about this part of his life, but always said he did serve his country. He was involved in bowling tournaments, poker tournaments, pool tournaments, and dart tournaments throughout his lifetime. He stayed very active and believed you are only as old as how you feel.
