LEE ANN ASH

SAN ANGELO -- Lee Ann Ash, 65, died Wednesday, March 16, in a local nursing home. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery on FM 1661 near Tuxedo. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Lee Ann was born July 1, 1939, in Hodges to Clara and Reuben Earl "Hap" Ray. She attended Anson High School and was an active member of First Baptist Church during those years. She later married Lee Allen Ash and they later had two children. Lee Ann was a loving mother, a dedicated grandmother and aunt and a kind, faithful woman who spent most of her life devoted to her immediate and extended families. She worked for several businesses including the San Angelo Independent School District and Shannon Health System and was a member of College Hills Baptist Church. Lee Ann was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, James, John, Earl, Dan and Wayne; and one sister, Mary Opal. She is survived by her daughter, Allyson Reynolds Dixon of San Angelo; her son, Edward Wayne Ash of San Marcos; two grandsons, Eric Lee Reynolds of Wichita, Kansas, and his wife, Trang, and Michael Ryan Dixon of Bedford; two nieces, Dana Gresham and Angie Hanson, both of Fort Worth; and a host of cousins and friends who will remember for her faith and for her love.
