LENA JULIAN CHRISTIAN

Lena Julian Christian, 69, of San Angelo, passed away on November 19, 2008 in Temple, TX. Family Visitation will be 6:00 pm. - 8:00 pm Friday November 21, 2008 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Robert Massie Funeral Chapel with Pastor Taylor Sandlin of Southland Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Lena Julian Christian was born in Watertown, New York to Thomas Volvia and Clorus Stork Volvia on July 2, 1939. She married Eben Christian on December 20, 1971 in Acuna, Mexico. Lena was an amazing mother of nine children and devoted wife. Her hobbies include reading, cooking and spoiling her grandkids. She also was a volunteer at Goodfellow Air Force Base pharmacy. She was given a special gift from God to share her love and to nurture other people. Lena has touched many lives with her generosity and sharing spirit. All of her children were blessed to have such a loving caring mother. Lena's spirit of giving and warmth will forever be alive in our hearts and in our family. Lena is preceded in death by her parents. Lena is survived by her First husband, Edward Emery and their three children; Tim Emery and wife Janice of Stamford, TX, Todd Emery of Sonora, TX, Troy Emery and wife Patricia of Ranger, TX, Her current husband, Eben Christian of San Angelo; and their three sons; Tony Christian of San Angelo, Ty Christian of Wisconsin, and Travis Christian of San Angelo; three Daughters, Traci Teutsch and husband Zane of San Angelo, Tami Schwartz and husband Randal, Tessa Russell and husband Larry Russell Jr.; and fourteen grandchildren, Toby Emery of Wisconsin, Takoda Christian of Canada; Zane, Hunter, and Kolton of San Angelo, Peyton, Ramsey, Emilea and Chelsea Russell of San Angelo and Ethan Christian of Midland, TX., and Trent , Tate and Trevor Schwartz of Wall and Bobby Emery of Stamford, TX. Pallbearers will be her sons, Tim Emery, Todd Emery, Troy Emery, Tony Christian, Ty Christian, and Travis Christian.
